Coor Service Management signs far-reaching agreement with SEB

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB) is one of the first Swedish banks to outsource large areas of its business-supporting workplace and property-related service across Sweden to an external service supplier.

SEB, one of the largest financial corporations in northern Europe, has signed an agreement with Coor. Coor will thereby manage, develop and streamline service functions for the bank's 194 branches and properties across Sweden in a contract worth over SEK 80 million a year.

"This is a groundbreaking agreement as SEB is one of the first banks in Sweden to outsource its service requirements to a specialist in integrated service solutions. We are very pleased to be shown this confidence, and see it as firm evidence that the market values the continuous development we can offer over time. We look forward to the task of managing, developing and streamlining service functions in close co-operation with SEB, ensuring that they support the bank's core business in the best possible way," says Ulf Wretskog, Business Area Manager at Coor Service Management.

The agreement means that all 50 or so service personnel in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö will be offered employment with Coor.

The agreement encompasses property-related and workplace service such as reception, conferences, security, post/goods management, caretaking duties, property administration, cleaning and staff canteen. The agreement comes into force on 3 December 2007.
